WIP: Concrete Paradise

WOO! I have a WIP at a "show-and-tell" stage! So here's a partially-colored version of "Concrete Paradise."




A group of random Saiyans, vaguely modeled after the ones we saw in the series, looking out over a Tsufuruan city prior to the civil war on Planet Vegeta. I'm planning on this being a diptych, with the companion piece a picture of Tsufuruans looking in on a Saiyan village. I'm particularly happy with the timing of these two works, since a re-make of Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans is in the works in Japan! It's one of my favorite (and most obscure) pieces of the DBZ story, so I'm totally stoked with the remaking of it and the teaser bits that are already being released.

I'm planning some meta no one cares about to go along with these two pieces for my final paper, but I'm definitely too high to write it up right now. XD Kekekekeke...once you detox from caffeine, a cocktail of coffee, Mt. Dew Throwback and Midol does wonders to your brain! :D (I recommend this! Unless you plan on being both coherent and constructive. XD)

The title "Concrete Paradise" comes from the song Gutter Ballet by Savatage:

Yes, I have just a tad bit of sympathy for the Saiyans. I'm a bad person, I know. ^^;
